What content should you create for TikTok?

It’s no secret that TikTok is a platform you need to be using right now.

If you think it’s just for kids, you’re missing the boat big time.

Sure, there are kids on there, just like all social media platforms but there are a lot more adults than yo might think.

I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and I’ve grown slowly to 764 followers now.

I’m certainly not the top influencer on there but I’ve learned a lot since December 2019.

How did I get started on TikTok?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been hearing Gary Vee talk about TikTok for a while.

I’ve also been putting it off and today, I regret that.

I certainly thought it was just another kid platform and I was too busy to get on it.

Last December, I finally decided to create an account and start playing around with it.

Why do I love it?

I was immediately impressed with the video editing features on the platform.

I thought it was so cool how you could record little bits and put them together..

How you can add music after recording…

How you can add disappearing text and stickers…

How you can lip sync to other people’s sounds!

What content should you create?

Just like any other social media platform, you need to know who your audience is.

Keep in mind that if you like to have fun, you will want people who follow you to know that about you.

If you don’t like to have fun, you can be serious, either way, it’s fine of course.

The secret is to create content using the platform’s tools and do what you like.

And you need to keep your audience in mind

Hashtags are not for people searching

On TikTok, the hashtags that go on your posts are to help the platform show your video to others.

You’ll notice a “Following” and a “For You” “page” or “fee” on TIkTok…

This is the list of videos you will see.

The Following feed is videos from the people you are already following

The for You feed is videos based on the hashtags in the videos you’ve engaged with in past.

This mean you want your videos to have hashtags that your audience would be interested in.

Watch this episode for more insights on all this.

I also show you how to create a lip sync video…

Share this with your friend too.
